Ms. Harris (Prugh) began serving the Oak Hill school district in July, 2011, as the Third/Fourth grade teacher. She came to R-1 after five years of teaching Preschool at North Wood R-4 and three years of teaching Preschool at the Salem Head Start. A graduate of Salem High School, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in Elementary Education, and later received her Early Childhood certification. She later completed a Master’s degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University. Ms. Prugh and her three children live in Salem. They all attend Salem High School.

  4th Grade: Natalie Huebner

Mrs. Huebner began teaching at Oak Hill school district in August, 2017.  Before teaching at Oak Hill, she was an educational aide at both Salem R80 and Oak Hill R1.  A graduate of St. Pius X high school in Festus Mo, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in Elementary Education. Mrs. Huebner lives in Salem with her husband Ronnie and three daughters, ages 13, 8, and 1.

  Music: Rachel Privett

Mrs. Rachel Privett taught music at Oak Hill one year in 2008, then began teaching music again January of 2016.  She has been teaching private lessons in Salem since 2007, with instrumental instruction in piano, violin, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, cello, and ukulele.  Her students have played in various community events such as the annual Trees and Trains Open House, the Variety Show and Miss Salem Pageant, and the Community Easter Sunrise Service.  Mrs. Privett minored in music at Fort Hays State University in Hays Kansas and majored in Construction Technology.  She played in the Fort Hays State University Symphony for 4 years, and took a few classes in classical guitar.  Mrs. Privett lives in Dent County.
